There's Gonna Be Some Rockin' - tape

This tape was given away free at "There's Gonna Be Some Rockin' which was a tribute to the music of AC/DC that took place on St. Patricks Day 1999. The tracks are original compositions by some of the bands that took part. There are some recordings of the gig but they should only be listened to after a day of drinking.

The Slowest Clock - no hand signals

This was the second EP by The Slowest Clock. Their first one is on the DIY Irish Harcore Punk Archive, and there's a live track on Dublin Opinion. There's also a session on the Fanning Sessions blog. They released an album called Still Life some years after they broke up but I've never heard or seen it.

In Dust - Bewildermental & Nosebleed

The only time I remember seeing In Dust was with LMS and I think Venus Envy in Barnstormers and LMS played so long that In Dust only played a couple of songs before they were told to stop. Apparrently they played with the Young Gods in the Rockgarden. I know I was at this gig but I have no memories of the evening whatsoever......good times.

There's more info about In Dust on The Swedish Nurse blog.

Jam Jar Jail - Fanning session +1

Tracklist: Kill Me Kill You, Pump Me, Mom's a Zombie, Elevator and Your Fantasy is included too.

Pump Me

Poor auld Dave didn't really get Jam Jar Jail judging by his comments at the end of Elevator. I remember standing behind him and some of The Whipping Boy one night in The Baggot, and they were enthusing to him about Sonic Youth (this would have been around the time of Daydream Nation). Dave's response was "I'm not really into that arty stuff".

Check out Chane's latest band Surgeon Marta. There's loads more Fanning sessions over at The Fanning Sessions Archive.
